Friday 7th March 19.00 - 21.00 Longborough Village Hall.
Further to the seven public meetings held by Cotswold MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown on the 8th and 9th of February, an additional meeting has been arranged in Longborough Village Hall
Mr Clifton-Brown said “My office is being deluged by correspondence from affected residents across the constituency with Longborough featuring disproportionately. I have decided it is essential to head to Longborough for a meeting specifically about their Post Office”
Ahead of the ending of the consultation on the 17th March, Mr Clifton-Brown is compiling all the many hundreds of pieces of correspondence sent to him and comments received at previous meetings to provide a tailored response for each branch.
The MP is urging all the residents of Longborough to attend the meeting and further add weight to his response to Post Office Ltd.
Mr Clifton-Brown is furthermore encouraging residents to come out in force in Cirencester on Saturday 8th March at 11.30 and join him at the mass stamp buying protest.
“Through all the work I have done in fighting Post Office closures, I have seen how many people are affected. I hope this event can further serve to demonstrate to Post Office Ltd how strongly opposed we are as a constituency to these decisions.”
