The Battle for Gullywith - Susan Hill wants your stories and your pictures

Features Add comments

The Battle for Gullywith by Cotswolds author Susan Hill, for children aged 8-88, was published on Monday 7th April.
A dedicated website is now live
www.gullywith.com and Susan would like to receive your drawings and stories based upon the book and how about entering the Withernosaurus Competition as well.

The launch party of Battle for Gullywith at the Jaffe and Neale Bookshop in Chipping Norton was a great success and huge fun. The dedicated website for the book is now live and Susan says “I’d love children to send in their drawings and stories based on the book and also to enter the Withernosaurus Competition - the more the merrier. They can also send in their reviews of the book and the best of all of these things will go up on the website so it really will be interactive. They can also email me from there - everyone is welcome.”

Everyone who has a story or picture put up on the website will receive a certificate of membership of the Friends of Gullywith and a special badge.

The Withernosaurus is a strange and legendarybeast that Olly reads about in a book called Legends of Withern Mere. According to Olly’s book, the Withernosaurus was several hundred feet long, with sharp pointed fins. Its scaly body was slime green, its eyes were yellow and it had thousands of sharp teeth.
Send in your pictures of Withernosaurus and you could win a fantastic prize!
