Double Delight for Cotswold MP on Gloucestershire’s Railways

The plans to increase capacity on both the Oxford - Worcester and Swindon - Gloucester routes is most welcome. Could I just correct one inaccuracy in your article. The Swindon to Kemble line was double track until the 1960s. I think the engineering challenge might be that the remaining line has been slewed over all of the existing formation so it will need to be moved to one side to enable a second line to be put in along side it.
