Significant Surrealist works of art return to Gloucestershire at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum to celebrate a momentous chapter in the history of Surrealism. Drawn from collections all over Britain, visitors can enjoy seeing pictures and sculptures by key artists of the movement including Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Roland Penrose, Henry Moore, Paul Nash, Man Ray, Edward Burra and Yves Tanguy.

This is the fourth Exhibition of paintings by Lucy Dickens at the Fosse Gallery. Lucy is the great, great granddaughter of the author and chronicler Charles Dickens and she began her career as a full-time artist in 1990 having previously worked as a fashion stylist for Conde Naste and then as a freelance illustrator for publications including The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, Vogue, Harpers and Queen and Tatler. OUT takes place in the grounds and riverside gardens of Quenington Old Rectory, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 5BN
IN and OUT is an unrivalled collection of contemporary glass sculpture featuring an eclectic mix of new and established glass artists who make work for the interior and the garden.
The art and design of the medieval church will be in the spotlight at a series of afternoon lectures at the Corinium Museum, Cirencester, throughout September.
