Cotswold MP, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, the Shadow Minister of Trade, had a meeting with over 40 local businessmen and businesswomen to discuss the current economic situation and the effect it was having on businesses. A number of issues were discussed, with particular consideration given to the role of the banks. The leader of the Conservative Party, David Cameron MP has shown a keen interest in work that is being undertaken to help conserve the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Steve ran the Snowdonia Marathon on Saturday 25th October 2008 and it was Marathon Number 458 in his world record challenge. The Snowdonia Marathon, now in its 26th year, was voted “Best UK Marathon” in 2007 and can attract over 1500 competitors. Steve ran with Bib number 459 for Bourton Roadrunners.
