The voice of youth is being heard loud and clear in Chedworth after the Youth Parish Council celebrated their one year anniversary this month.

From December 1st, litterbugs and dog owners who fail to clean up after their pets will face on-the-spot fines from the authority.

Housing on track in Cotswolds despite ‘credit crunch’ fears

Building work is continuing at three affordable housing sites in the Cotswolds, despite the recent ‘credit crunch’ affecting building sites throughout the country.

Cotswold District Council currently has affordable housing sites at Bourton-on-the-Water, as well as at two sites in Tetbury, and the Council believes that affordable homes could be available in the New Year on at least one of these sites.

Marathon Number 459 completed in Cornwall – the Cornish Marathon

Sunday November 16th 2008 and Steve Edwards completed Marathon Number 459 by running the Cornish Marathon which was celebrating its twenty fifth anniversary. Topograph installed at one of highest points in Cotswolds

Representatives of a group of over 340 volunteers who look after the Cotswolds will unveil a topograph on Painswick Beacon this week that has been created to commemorate their 40th Anniversary. The Cotswold Voluntary Wardens were founded in 1968 and are the voluntary arm of the, Cotswolds Conservation Board, the organisation that exists to conserve and enhance the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
