All the celebrities, including the Bishop of Tewkesbury Rt Revd John Went, attended Christian Aid’s fundraising lunch to celebrate Wotton-under-Edge’s new status as a fair trade town. Christian Aid hosted a well attended and happy lunch to raise money for, and to celebrate the fact that Wotton-under-Edge is now one of the eight (shortly to become nine with Bourton-on-the-Water) designated fair trade towns in Gloucestershire. Marathon Number 456 is completed – only one week after Number 455

Steve Edwards has completed Marathon Number 456 – The Great Langdale Marathon in Cumbria - on Sunday 14th September 2008, which is only one week after he ran Marathon Number 455 at Wolverhampton. There is no rest when you are running for a world record.

Marathon Number 455 is nailed in 3hours 6minutes – well within the world record target time

Cotswolds based Steve Edwards completed his 455 Marathon on Sunday 7th September 2008.
The Carver Wolverhampton City Marathon was number 455 towards his world record target of running 500 Marathons by 2012, all within an average time of under 3 hours 20 minutes or 200 minutes.
