Saturday 26th July 6.30 pm, Toddington Railway Station, Gloucestershire
Toddington based heritage railway, the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, is laying on a special steam train with a jazz band send off in aid of the cancer charity, Maggie’s Cotswolds. The excursion leaves Toddington at 6.30pm on Saturday 26th July and travels to Cheltenham Race Course, via Winchcombe, before making a leisurely return journey. Read the rest of this article »

Cotswolds MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown has given a cautious welcome to the long awaited announcement from the Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust (PCT) that UK Specialist Hospitals (UKSH) will carry out a range of routine, planned operations at Cirencester Hospital from Autumn 2009.
