Saturday 4th August/Sunday 5th August Prescott Speed Hill Climb
Prescott Hill Climb is home to one of the world’s most prestigious racing venues. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic cars and bike weekends,but also hosts major motor racing championships.
The 1127 yard course rises over 200 feet in short straights, fast and slow corners and a wicked hairpin, with the fastest modern racing cars completing the course in 36 seconds!
Prescott has been holding top flight motor racing meetings for almost 80 years and this weekend The Vintage Sports-Car Club are again holding their fixture which goes back to 1938 - a terrific occasion.
Superb location, Great Company, Relaxed atmosphere, Superb cars and Hard Competition.Â
This event is the largest hill climb in Europe and with nearly 300 entrants there will be something for everybody from cycle cars to racing cars and lots in between.
Saturday is practice day - gates open at 08.30 and practice commences at 09.30
Sunday is race day - gates open at 08.30 and timed runs start at 10.00
Prescott is located north of Cheltenham on the Gotherington to Winchcombe road.
Get along there and you will be hooked by the occasion.
