Edward Sheldon are very excited to have Nicholas Buck visiting them from the great Te Mata Estate in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Nicholas will be there for one evening only, to share some of the history of what can only be described as one of the iconic wineries of the new world.

Santa steams in to Toddington on the GWR

Saturday 6th December – Wednesday 24th December 2008 at Toddington Railway Station.
Santa paid an unexpected visit to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway this week to check on bookings for his “Santa Specials 2008” trains starting on Saturday 6th December. To his delight he found that some trains are already sold out and bookings are well up on previous years.

Toddington based heritage railway, the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, is laying on a special steam train with a jazz band send off in aid of the cancer charity, Maggie’s Cotswolds. Saturday 12th July – Sunday 3rd August in The Octagon Gallery at Whichford Pottery.
Andrew’s pots are special for their skilled bold throwing and freehand painted decoration. He has adapted the historical techniques of country pottery and English Delftware to produce a fully hand-made range of functional decorative pots for modern use.
